The popular CBS show 'The Amazing Race' is being criticized for airing an episode that was filmed in Vietnam, and had the contestants racing through a B-52 memorial last week. The show not only upset many people who tuned in to the show, but many veterans as well - some of which actually served in Vietnam.

Sometimes the real winner in a race is the one who realizes victory isn't everything, which is just what happened earlier this week at a high school cross-country meet in Tennessee Seventeen-year-old Seth Goldstein, a senior at  Cooper Yeshiva High School, was rounding his second turn in the race when one of his opponents collapsed in front of him from a heat-induced seizure. Seth Goldstein was "feeling pretty good" halfway through his recent cross country race, as the senior from Cooper Yeshiva High in Memphis,Tenn. was edging toward the front of the pack. But then something unusual happened. One of the runners he was closing in on collapsed. As the other runners kept going, Goldstein stopped to check on his competitor.

The race for the Sheriffs office in Abilene is promising to be a heated race as the candidates pour their feelings and experience into their campaigns. Hardin Simmons University social work students will be holding an 'Open Public Forum' on campus April 24th. Their goal is to distinguish the clear differences between all three candidates.
