True crime remains in vogue, and there may be no subject more topical than domestic terrorism. Discovery’s new miniseries Manhunt: Unabomber will bring us both, as Avengers star Paul Bettany plays the infamous bomber in a first trailer.

You see the release date in the image there: May 6, 2016. Marvel Phase Three kicks off exactly one year from yesterday with the release of Captain America: Civil War. With the clock ticking, and the Avengers: Age of Ultron publicity tour finally winding down, it’s time to get to shooting Cap 3. Marvel announced today that production has officially begun on next summer’s massive sequel, and they also revealed four more big additions to the cast.

There’s a lot to like about Avengers: Age of Ultron, but the coolest thing about it is the way it reclaims the comic book part of the phrase “comic-book movie.” Rather than using these characters to do something “edgy” or “adult” or “important,” or sanding down their quirkier edges to appeal to as broad and mainstream an audience as possible, Age of Ultron doubles down on its source material’s geeky origins.

We’re approaching that point in the ‘Avengers: Age of Ultron’ marketing campaign where it can start to feel like we’ve already seen every big stunt and setpiece in the film before the movie’s even opened. But the new ‘Avengers’ trailer reveals yet another amazingly cool beat that’s never been seen before: Chris Evans’ Captain America loses his shield in battle with James Spader’s Ultron, so Scarlett Johansson’s Black Widow snatches it while trailing the fight on a motorcycle, then slides under a semi-truck Fast & Furious-style and tosses it up to Cap so he can continue the battle. Awesome awesome awesome. (Marvel’s going to try to use that as a pull-quote on the poster, aren’t they?)

During Marvel Studio's big presentation at Comic-Con 2014, nearly the entire 'Avengers 2' cast came out on the Hall H stage to tease their next big battle and screen the first footage for the fans. But what the audience didn't see was all the post-action. The stars came out to chat with press about all things Ultron, Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver, the post-'Winter Soldier' S.H.I.E.L.D., and what each character is up to in this brave new world.

"Have you ever been hung in the air by your genitals? I have," joked 'Avengers 2' star Paul Bettany. During the earlier Comic-Con 2014 festivities, Marvel released a slew of concept art-based posters for the film, one of which featured newcomer character The Vision floating above Ultron's many robotic minions, and it turns out the process of transforming Bettany into this sentient being wasn't always seamless. "It’s a very sweaty and hot decision that got made. But it’s really fucking cool."

It's been a huge week for 'Avengers 2' -- aside from our first look at the sentient villain Ultron, eight new photos from the film debuted online, and Entertainment Weekly continues dropping plot point after plot point. Now, another piece of story intel has hit, once again from EW, revealing the origin story behind another highly anticipated 'Avengers 2' debut: Vision!

When I was a young man and the Internet was new, I made the same joke every time I dialed-up and heard those dissonant, scratchy tones. “Chhhhhhh-CHHHHHH-Chhhhhh” my modem would bray, and as soon as there was silence I'd turn to whomever was in the room and conspiratorially say, "all right, we're in." Paul Bettany is the latest Marvel star to fear the wrath of the studio, because when Jimmy Kimmel asked him about his role in 'The Avengers 2,' the star visibly looked around and shared his fears before opening up (just a bit) about his work as The Vision.

We're just a couple of weeks away from the unveiling of 'Transcendence,' Wally Pfister's directorial debut, and if you're not excited enough about it, Warner Bros. has just released six -- count 'em, six! -- clips from the new sci-fi film. We have officially reached peak promotion.

'The Avengers: Age of Ultron' is about to start shooting, though not all the major parts have been filled. The latest to join the cast is Paul Bettany -- who already voices J.A.R.V.I.S. in the Marvel Universe -- playing Vision.

Syfy has been culling from the well of genre movies for its latest TV developments, most recently greenlighting the pilot for a '12 Monkeys' series, while today brings our first casting for 'Legion' sequel series 'Dominion.' Former 'Kings' star Christopher Egan will head up the cast, backed by 'LOST' baddie Alan Dale and '300' star Tom Wisdom, but how closely will the new story follow the 2010 fil
