Do you remember this past September (sounds like a song lyric) when I blogged about the Outlaws and Legends Music Festival (OLMF) organizers announcing "we are looking for a new non-profit for our fundraiser event?" well that day was Thursday, October 11th, 2012. The Music Meltdown Festival is a concert with Zach Harmon Band, Kirk House Band, Callahan Divide and OdduSee. The Festival will benefit Big Brothers, Big Sisters and will be a first outdoor concert for the American Legion Hall. Texas music artist Larry Joe Taylor and Tejas Brothers Dave Perez dropped into the radio station this morning. Larry Joe and Dave were out doing what Larry called a "short radio tour" to promote the upcoming 'Larry Joe Taylor Texas Music Festival'. Larry and Dave brought their new albums and some music-festival tickets for us to give away on air right away since the show is next week.
