A donkey rescue in San Angelo, Texas has named one of its foals after longtime donor and TV legend Betty White.

A few key members of the SNL cast and crew must love “The Californians” because the much-derided sketch was brought back to life for the show’s star-studded 40th anniversary special. For those of us who have always enjoyed this bizarre sketch (and there are about three of us), it’s a welcome return and we will greedily drink up the angry tears of everyone else.

Betty White recently celebrated her 93rd birthday and it didn't go unnoticed by her "Hot in Cleveland" sitcom family. They surprised Betty with a huge flash mob.

I don't know if you could call this a celebrity death hoax or a gut check from the grammar police. As a self-professed grammar snob, it's been rather amusing to see the internet react to the news that Betty White dyes.

Last month, Betty White lent her rapping skills to a remix of techno artist Luciana’s hit song ‘I’m Still Hot.” Now the video for the collaboration has been released, featuring both cheesecake (which White raps about baking) and beefcake to appeal to both sexes. (It’s hot, provided that you consider a bunch of buff male models fawning over an 88-year-old to be hot.)

It seems like there are a lot of people running for President Obama‘s job. Now we can add one more: America’s Sweetheart, Betty White. On last night’s ‘Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson,’ White announced her run for President of the United States.

I told you Monday that Betty White had been invited to the Marine Corps Ball by Sgt. Ray Lewis via YouTube video.  Since two other marines had successfully gained "star" dates this way he decided to try as well.  Unfortunately, Ms. White declined Lewis' offer.  However, another star has offered to go in her place.

So it looks like the Marine Corps Ball this year will be a star studded event. Earlier this month a Marine asked Mila Kunis to go with him to the ball, she said yes. Then Justin Timberlake was invited, he too said yes. Well now Miss Betty White has been invited, still waiting for her reply!
