The Walk for Autism continues in the big country on April the 1st, thanks to Spectrum Connection. Sign up and join the walk at Red Bud Park.

The annual Fall Mayor's Hike, is December 5th starting at 9 am. Mayor Williams will host the hike along the Cedar Creek Waterway in south-east Abilene.

The Junior League of Abilene kicks-off the holiday season with their annual 5k Reindeer Run, December 1st.

The event was established in 2008 to help make our community healthier. The Mayor's 5K/10K & fun run coming up April 21st.

Southwest Dental Care of Abilene is once again hosting the Smiles for Life 'Mustache Dash' 5K to benefit children's charities including our local CMN at Hendrick Children's Hospital. The event will be open to all ages this Saturday, June 17th.

The Abilene Runners Club is hosting a 5K to benefit the families of the 5 fallen Dallas police officers.

The annual RunTogether 5K-1Mile Run/Walk/Waddle to benefit Cancer Services Network will be held November 18th at Frontier Texas. The community event will focus on hope and help for local cancer patients.

Here is another fun, after dark 5K for those of you who like to run! The Color Up 5K Dark is benefiting the YMCA of Abilene.

The UV Splash Color Dash 5k makes its way to Abilene this Saturday at the Mall of Abilene. The event will not only be a fun and healthy for you, but also will benefit Mission Abilene.

The Dance Dash 5k benefiting Children's Miracle Network is coming to Abilene, Saturday, October 18th. This event is a fun way to raise money for a great cause.

Before summer ends there is time to get in one more 5K. This one is actually two races in one, a  timed 'chipped' race and an evening glow run. The event will benefit a great cause in the Abilene Dream Center.
