The Callahan 4-H  Rifle Club is hosting a benefit fundraiser and dance featuring the Muddy Creek Band. The event takes place this Friday, April 25th at the Grand Ole Oplin. There will be a silent auction, including baked goods, quilted items, jewelry and more. The funds raised will be used to assists students to, from and at shooting competitions. The Callahan County 4-h shooting sports program, will be putting on a five stand shoot, Saturday, September the 8th at the Callahan County 4-H range. You can put your team together or shoot individually. The 4-H club will be offering a "Team 5-Stand", "Individual 5-Stand" and "Trap". The entry fees vary depending on how you choose to shoot.
