Country trio Runaway Angel sock-hopped back to the 1950s for their "Hard to Get" music video. The clip -- premiering exclusively on The Boot -- re-creates some of the most famous scenes from the movie Grease. Readers can press play above to watch.

In the "Hard to Get" video, Runaway Angel's Stacey Zegers portrays the character of Sandy (played in the 1978 film by Olivia Newton-John), while bandmates Ann Chaplin and Cadence Grace are her Pink Lady counterparts. The two offer friendship and moral support as she tries to land her Danny -- and, eventually, help her out with that infamous bad-girl makeover.

Runaway Angel filmed their "Hard to Get" music video at the Carling Heights Optimist Community Centre in their hometown of London, Ontario, Canada, turning the venue into a '50s-era high school. The song is a message to a guy who's trying to act just a little too cool -- "It's hard to play a girl playing hard to get ..." Runaway Angel sing. "Just tell her that she's got it / Tell her that you want it / Or another guy'll tell her instead" -- making Grease a perfect inspiration for its video.

RaeLynn and Emily Weisband co-wrote "Hard to Get," which is the second single from Runaway Angel's sophomore album, Zero, released in October. Chaplin, Grace and Zegers have been performing together for five years; Grace first met Zegers in 2009, and after meeting Chaplin in 2011, she brought them together, and Runaway Angel was born.

Runaway Angel released their debut album, No End in Sight, in 2016; it earned them a Discovery Award nomination at the Canadian CMAs. The trio has performed at music festivals including Boots and Hearts and opened for artists such as Dallas Smith.
