Miranda Lambert's 2017 CMT Music Awards experience is off to an interesting start: The country superstar found herself caught in an elevator at Nashville's Music City Center on Tuesday morning (June 6).

On Tuesday, Lambert shared on Instagram a photo of herself and half a dozen or so other people, all of whom were stuck in an elevator at rehearsals for the 2017 CMT Music Awards. Lambert and her fellow elevator prisoners looked to be in good spirits, at least.

"Well folks, CMA [Music Festival] Week is starting off right," Lambert writes. Fortunately, Lambert was prepared just in case they were stuck for a while: "Don't worry, I have airplane bottles of Tito's [vodka] in my purse for emergencies.

"What is it about award shows?" Lambert adds. "Always an adventure ..."

Lambert is scheduled to perform at the 2017 CMT Music Awards, which will air live from Nashville on Wednesday night (June 7) at 8PM ET (assuming she's out of that elevator in time). Traditionally held at the Bridgestone Arena, the CMT Music Awards relocated for 2017 to accommodate the Nashville Predators run for the Stanley Cup; Game 4 of their Stanley Cup Final series vs. the Pittsburgh Penguins took place at the arena on Monday night (June 5), while Game 6 will occur there on Sunday (June 11).

Following her 2017 CMT Music Awards performance, Lambert will kick off CMA Fest 2017 with her first-ever MuttNation March. The event will occur on the first day of the 2017 CMA Music Festival, June 8, in support of the MuttNation Foundation, a non-profit that Lambert founded to support animal shelters, pet adoptions and rescue animals.
