If you think Margo Price sounds like an updated version of country icon Dolly Parton, you aren't alone. And if you were at her performance at the 2018 Newport Folk Festival on Friday (June 27), you got to see that voice in action.

Price tapped singer-songwriter Brandi Carlile to join her onstage during the show, and the two women treated the crowd to an upbeat, high-energy rendition of Parton's classic "9 to 5." Watch the video above for a clip of the pitch-perfect duet.

This isn't the first time Price has covered Parton: She previously performed "9 to 5" as an encore during her recent three-night run at the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville, Tenn. During those performances, she brought out a sampling of her peers and idols each night to join her for a throwback duet, performing with artists such as Jack White, Emmylou Harris and Sturgill Simpson.

Price has long enjoyed bringing surprise guests onstage, and earlier in her Newport Folk Festival set, she also brought John Prine onstage with her to play a cover of his song "In Spite of Ourselves." The country singer also paid homage to Parton on her recent European tour, performing her rendition of the classic tune "Jolene."

Carlile also recently announced that Price will be joining her on her upcoming Girls Just Wanna Weekend Festival, which is slated to take place from Jan. 30-Feb. 3, 2019, in Riviera Maya, Mexico. Other performers include Maren MorrisPatty Griffin, KT Tunstall and more.

Price has a run of additional live shows and festival dates planned throughout the late summer and fall. Once she gets onstage, you never know who might show up! For tickets and more information, check out Price's website.
