‘Maleficent’ Reviewed By Dave’s 14-Year Old Son Nathan

My 14-year old son Nathan has clearly taken up my love for movies. He will take advantage of any opportunity to go to the theater, and then give his opinion of the film he watched to anyone who will listen. As a result, we get a review of 'Maleficent' from the perspective of a young teen.

'Maleficent' is rated PG and stars Angelina Jolie. it's a new take on Disney's 'Sleeping Beauty'. I can appreciate the fact that Nathan gives full disclosure, and admits he's never seen the movie from which it originates. This is a good thing, because now we get to see if 'Maleficent' is entertaining enough to stand alone, without needing a lot of background.

There you go. 10 out of 10, and Nathan would recommend 'Maleficent' to all of his friends! So, if you've got a kid around age who isn't sure if they'll like this movie, just tell them "Nathan liked it", and they're sure to want to see this movie.
