Luke Bryan is teasing his Aug. 16 appearance during the televised CMA Fest special. Readers can press play above to catch the artist as he pitches the upcoming show, a special program on ABC that highlights some of the 2017 CMA Music Festival, which took place in Nashville during the first week of June.

In this teaser, Bryan talks about his latest hit single, "Fast," and the inspiration behind it: trying to find peace within the rapid-paced lifestyle of a country superstar.

"I notice that the days seem to fly by -- you wake up, like, and you're going, going, going, and you're like, 'That's another day in the books,' and that kind of drives me crazy," the artist says. "But if I can go have a day fishing with my boys, just go ride around on my four-wheelers, just go hunting -- I mean, that makes things kind of slow down for me."

The teaser includes clips of Bryan's performance at the 2017 CMA Music Festival, which came shortly after he released the video for "Fast," which he introduced to audiences for the first time at CMA Fest 2015.
