Kid Rock is heating up the oil for a Tennessee fish fry this October.

The country-rock superstar has announced his fourth-annual Fish Fry, which will take place Oct. 5 and Oct. 6 at Carl Black Chevy Woods Amphitheater at Fontanel in Nashville, Tenn.

It promises to be a memorable two days.

Rock will headline both nights, with special guest George Thorogood and the Destroyers set to take the stage. Additional acts will be announced in the coming weeks. Tickets to the two-day event will go on sale July 13. In addition to music, this year's fish fry includes the first-ever General Lee hood slide competition, a Ferris wheel, "cool" cars, corn hole, fireworks, food trucks, beer and, of course, fried fish.

The Most Unforgettable Kid Rock Moments

Kid Rock is keeping busy this year touring the country for countless festival stops ahead of his Red Blooded Rock N Roll Redneck Extravaganza Tour, which kicks off Aug. 3. The singer has also revealed that he has a honky-tonk in the works, which you'll be able to find on Nashville's Lower Broadway. Rock joins a long list of artists opening establishments in downtown Nashville, including Jason AldeanFlorida Georgia Line and Blake Shelton.

Rock has partnered with the owners of Nashville honky-tonk Tootsie’s for the new venue — a four-story entertainment mecca and steakhouse that will focus on rock music. He promises it will offer something different than the other bars lined up on Broadway.

“When Steve [Smith] was talking about this, I was like, ‘Hmm, everybody’s doing it,’ and I don’t really want to do it unless I can bring something to the table besides money,” the singer tells the Tennessean. “If we can really do something creative and make it a little bit different than the other spots."
