If ever there were a couple in country music that seemingly fall in love with each other a little more with each passing day, it’s Keith Urban and Nicole Kidman.

Just a couple short hours before taking the stage alongside pop star Julia Michaels at the 2018 ACM Awards on Sunday (April 15) to perform their single “Coming Home,” Keith was gushing over his lovely wife for photographers ready and willing to catch their every move. And Kidman looked and sounded prouder than ever of her man.

"I do get to hear the music being written and then as it evolves and evolves,” Kidman spilled during an interview on the ACM Awards red carpet. “He puts so much work into it. I mean literally, he is in his studio going over and over and over each song because apparently the mix is everything.”

Of course, before the night was over, Kidman was beaming as Urban took home the Vocal Event of the Year title for “The Fighter” with Carrie Underwood. "It was such a pleasure to do this song with Carrie Underwood,” Urban said as he came up to accept the award, with Underwood, adding, “Thank you for having me — I'm still kind of shaky right now. Thank you country radio, fans, oh my gosh."

From here, Urban will prepare for a whirlwind remainder of 2018, as the Aussie will release his ninth studio albumGraffiti U, on April 27. He will also hit the road on his 58-city Graffiti U World Tour 2018, kicking off on June 15 at St. Louis’ Hollywood Casino Amphitheatre.
