Keith Urban used social media to share his gratitude to fans and the industry members who voted him for Entertainer of the Year at the 2018 CMA Awards on Wednesday night (Nov. 14). The country superstar jumped online shortly after the big show to send out his message.

"Hey everyone -- it's Keith here, in the kitchen, just got home from the most epic CMA night tonight," Urban says in the video, which he shot at his Nashville home. Wife Nicole Kidman swoops in to plant a kiss on her husband's cheek mid-video as Urban shouts out his love and thanks to everyone who voted for him, his fans and country radio.

"This means the world to me tonight," he adds. "God Bless every one of you."

Urban took home the coveted Entertainer of the Year trophy, much to his own surprise, out of a roundup of some of the biggest names in country music. Urban's fellow nominees in the 2018 CMA Awards category were Jason Aldean, Luke Bryan, Eric Church, and Chris Stapleton, the latter of whom won three awards during the show.

Urban last won Entertainer of the Year 13 years ago, in 2005, the first year he was nominated. He was nominated for CMA Entertainer of the Year every year from 2005 through 2011; he received his next nod in the category in 2014, follows by nominations in 2016, 2017 and 2018.
