Next year 2013  will hold special meaning to country's Jason Aldean, not for one particular reason but for two. He will be kicking off his first ever stadium tour and it will be at Fenway Park, home of the Boston Red Sox. This will be the first time ever, that a country musician has played the ballpark.

July 13, 2013 will be the opening date of Aldean's "Night Train" tour at Fenway Park.  The announcement was made today Oct. 18th at the ballpark with Red Sox CEO & President, Larry Lucchino present.  Lucchino also brought along a video from the team congratulating Aldean on this historic event.

If it wasn't enough just to see Aldean in concert he will also have Miranda Lambert, Jake Owen and Thomas Rhett on the lineup.   Only a handful of country artists have the ability to consistently sell out stadium tours; George Strait, Taylor Swift and Kenny Chesney.  Hopefully we will be able to add Aldean to that list next year as well.

Aldean's current "My Kinda Party" tour comes to an end in Dallas on Oct. 27 and sold almost 2 million tickets.  He is up for three awards, including  entertainer of the year, at the Country Music Association Awards on Nov. 1.

The CMA Awards show, by the way, will be broadcast live on KEAN that evening hosted by our own Jeremy Robinson of Taste of Country Nights.
