Jason Aldean Is ‘Happy and Sad’ on His Daughter’s 16th Birthday
And he's feeling emotional!
"Today I'm happy and sad all at the same time," Aldean admits in a candid post to Instagram, alongside a series of photos of his daughter throughout the years. "Today Keeley turns 16 and as happy as I am to see her grow up, I still think of her as that little girl dancing around on stage, holding her microphone and pretending like she was the star of the show."
"I am so proud of the person she is turning into and even prouder to be her Daddy. Happy Birthday. I love u so much," he adds. Keeley is from Aldean's first marriage, as is his 11-year-old, Kendyl.
Aldean's winning streak extends past his personal life and into his professional one. Earlier this month, the three-time and reigning ACM Entertainer of the Year released his new single "Rearview Town," a song that serves as the title track on his current album Rearview Town."
"Sometimes you have to let go of the things behind you, that have held you down and look forward," Aldean says in a recent press release about the new single. "That’s this song to me and I think a lot of my people have been there in their lives, too."
The album Rearview Town has already spawned his twenty-second career No. 1 hit, "Girl Like You." Other recent chart-toppers include his hits "You Make It Easy" and "Drowns the Whiskey." Aldean will soon kick off his 2019 Ride All Night Tour alongside special guests Kane Brown, Carly Pearce and Dee Jay Silver. The run starts on May 3.
In addition to welcoming a new baby, Aldean and his wife are currently building their dream home. Their son, Memphis, turned a year old in December 2018.
