Texas Woman Believed Son Was The Devil
According to CBS19, the Rusk County Sheriff's office got a call at around 1:00 p.m. from an 11-year-old-boy who told dispatchers that his mom believed he was the devil. Not only did she apparently think that, but she also began burning the family dogs.
When deputies arrived on the scene, they found the mother, Veronica Loredo, in a vehicle with four children.
Dog Remains Found at Texas Home
Authorities were searching the property when they found dog remains in a fire that was still burning in front of her home.
While authorities were on their way to the house, they received another call from the home next to Loredo's saying a woman showed up with blood on her hands claiming her parents had been killed. According to click2houston.com, authorities have not said if that was true.
Laredo was arrested and charged with two counts of cruelty to non-livestock animals plus four counts of endangering a child. Her bond is set at $400,000.
