If you've been on social media at all lately, then there's a good chance you've seen this video floating around. The video is from 1989 and is a spot-on representation of what we all looked like back in the 80s.

The video is of a high school classroom as it pans around showing the students. In the background is Skid Row's "I Remember You" playing to set the nostalgic tone.

Some guys had long hair. Some were jocks. Some girls had "RBF". Some had huge hair. All of them were from the 80s. As you watch the video, you'll see what I mean by "huge hair".

Yes, the 80s were known as the Hair Metal era, so it's natural that lots of poofed-out hair was the in thing back then. However, here in the Lone Star State, that big hair is known as "Texas Hair" and it's not just for the 80s. Heck, I still see women wearing that big o' hairdo that took 4 cans of Aquanet to style.

Watch the video again and you'll see some mullets and flat tops. Those, too, were the in styles back in the day and yours truly rocked 'em both.

What a flashback to some awesome times. I don't know anyone in that video. Heck, I don't even know where it was shot, but I felt like I did. As a matter of fact, one user had the best comment in regards to the video:

My kid just asked me, “Who’s that?”. So I told him. “Nobody I know... and everybody I know.”

You kids today have no idea what you missed back in the 80s, but just know it was rad.

Just put it this way, the 80s were so gnarly that one of the most popular series ever is based in that decade. Stranger Things.

Season 4 of Stranger Things wasn't the only one with a good soundtrack.
