The Kiwanis Club of Abilene is hosting its annual feeding feast known as the "Pancake Day and Auction." This year the Kiwanis Club of Abilene will be having its Pancake Day and Auction on Saturday, April 29th, beginning at 8 AM.

Yep, the Kiwanis Pancake Day and Auction is back in April and it seems like it's going to be bigger and better than ever before. Bring your entire family, friends, and co-workers to enjoy some awesome old-fashioned pancakes with fried sausage, listen to live music, and check out all the incredible silent auction items.

Make sure that you purchase your tickets in advance to secure your spot at this year's event. Tickets may be purchased from any Kiwanian, Kiwanis online, or at the door on the day of the event.

Tickets are only $7 in advance, and $8 at the door, Children 5 and under eat free when accompanied by a paying adult. This year's feed times are from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM and will reopen from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM. Once again a huge thank you goes out to IHOP for being the sponsor once again.

The very first Kiwanis Club of Abilene Pancake day was held in the Windsor Hotel in 1940. Since its inception, Pancake Day has only been canceled twice in the clubs' history. Once during WWII and recently during the Pandemic.

The Kiwanis Club of Abilene's Pancake Day and Auction benefits many organizations within our community, like the Boys and Girls Club, New Horizons, Hendrick Home for Children, Christian Homes for Children, Christian Service Center, the Ben Ritchie Boys Ranch, and so many more.

The Kiwanis Pancake Day motto is "remember kids need Kiwanis and Kiwanis need you to come to eat pancakes." Besides, it's the Kiwanis' biggest fundraiser of the year. So, if you would like to donate, volunteer, or need any additional information please call 325-673-1341.
