Eric Church Added to 2018 CMA Awards Performance Lineup

Eric Church is a last-minute addition to the 2018 CMA Awards performers lineup. The Country Music Association announced on Tuesday morning (Nov. 13) that the country star will be taking the stage during Wednesday night's (Nov. 14) awards show.

Church is not nominated at the 2018 CMA Awards. However, he recently released a brand-new album, Desperate Man; it's likely that he'll perform a song from that project.

Church joins a lineup of about three dozen artists who are scheduled to perform during the 2018 CMA Awards. Performers include Kelsea Ballerini, Luke Bryan, Kenny Chesney, Dan + Shay, Old Dominion, Carrie Underwood, Keith Urban, Dierks Bentley and the Brothers Osborne, Florida Georgia Line and Bebe Rexha, Kacey Musgraves, the Pistol Annies, Thomas Rhett, Jason Aldean with Miranda Lambert, Garth Brooks, Luke Combs, Midland, Brett Young, Lauren Alaina, Brad Paisley, Ricky Skaggs and Chris Stapleton with Maren Morris and Mavis Staples. The show will also feature "special appearances" from Lindsay Ell, Vince Gill, Sierra Hull, Chris Janson, Ashley McBryde, David Lee Murphy, Jon Pardi, Carson Peters, Marty Stuart and Cole Swindell.

Additionally, country artists Jimmie Allen, Kane Brown, Lady Antebellum, Little Big Town, Dustin Lynch, Martina McBride, Carly Pearce and Trisha Yearwood will all be presenters during the 2018 CMA Awards. Additional presenters include country radio DJ Bobby Bones and his Dancing With the Stars partner Sharna Burgess; model and actress Olivia Culpo; Mackenzie Foy from Disney’s The Nutcracker and the Four Realms; actor Dennis Quaid; American Idol judge and musician Lionel Richie; actor Noah Schnapp; and singer-songwriter, actress and producer Rita Wilson.

The 2018 CMA Awards are scheduled to air on ABC on Nov. 14, at 8PM ET. The ceremony will take place live at Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena, and Paisley and Underwood will co-host for the 11th consecutive year.
