Diamond Rio Is Back In Abilene [VIDEO]

The West Texas Rehab Telethon is this weekend and the feature entertainment is Diamond Rio. It's been many years since Marty Roe and the boys were in the Key City.

A few years ago I was bombarded with phone calls and emails that kept claiming that, "Country radio will not play this song, please pick up the phone and call your local radio station and ask them to play the song and if they refuse to play it, stop listening to that radio station". The song in question was "In God We Still Trust" a song mind you, that we had been and we are still playing to this day. I'm dying to ask Marty and the guys if that was a marketing move for them or just an idea from a Diamond Rio fan. Nonetheless I think it was a brilliant move because I put the song into a "hotter" rotation.
