Danielle Bradbery has shared the third and final portion of Yours Truly: 2018, a tribute collection of three songs released during 2018 that particularly impacted the country singer. This time around, Bradbery delves into the world of hip hop, offering a sparse, crystalline rendition of Post Malone's "Psycho."

Although "Psycho" marks her first foray into the hip hop world, the singer told Billboard that she intentionally pulled from three different genres when assembling the the three-track tribute, explaining that she grew up listening to a wide variety of genres, and believes that great music was released in 2018 across the stylistic spectrum. Bradbery kicked off Yours Truly: 2018 with her rendition of Ariana Grande's "God is a Woman" on Dec. 21, then released her take on Kacey Musgraves' "Slow Burn" on Dec. 28.

Bradbery isn't the first artist to be drawn to Malone's No. 1 hit. Dan + Shay have shared a version of the song to their YouTube page, and In October of 2018, country star Michael Ray also recorded his own hazy, slowed-down version of the song as a part of Spotify Sessions. At the time, Ray told People that he forged a camaraderie with Malone after the latter played a show in Nashville and they were introduced through mutual friends. Not only does Ray say that he admires the rapper's songwriting and style, but he was impressed by the breadth of Malone's musical knowledge.

"[I was impressed by] his knowledge of music and how broad it is," Ray explained. "He has a love and respect for all genres, and [it was great] to have an intimate conversation about the country tradition."

In the year ahead, Bradbery has plans to join Kane Brown on his 2019 Live Forever Tour. She is also at work on her third studio album, which will follow 2018's I Don't Believe We've Met.
