Clay Walker is gearing up for his fourth annual Band Against MS charity ride. The event, in partnership with the singer's Band Against MS non-profit, will take place on March 26; it will begin and end at the Home of the Shell Houston Open PGA Tournament in Humble, Texas.

“This event holds a special place in my heart because it combines two of my favorite things, cycling and raising awareness about multiple sclerosis,” Walker says in a press release. “Over the last three years, all of the people who have taken a part in the ride have expressed their gratitude for this event, and I am so excited we are able to do it again this year.”

Since Walker started the Band Against MS Ride four years ago, more than 1,000 people have participated. All proceeds from the ride will go to Band Against MS, which was founded in 2003 by Walker to offer support to those that are affected by multiple sclerosis. Walker himself was diagnosed with MS in 1996.

“... I have been in remission for 15 years due in part to eating healthy, exercising, treatment and my relationship with my neurologist," Walker explains, "but the struggle continues daily for many people with the disease."

Riders of all skill levels are welcome to attend the 2016 Band Against MS Ride; the event will feature multiple routes that vary based on ability. More information on the ride, including registration details, are available on the Band Against MS website.
