Carrie Underwood Says Son Isaiah Is Showing Singing Talents
Carrie Underwood's little boy attends many of Dad's hockey games, but he might follow in Mom's footsteps, instead. The star tells the Ty, Kelly and Chuck radio show that 3-year-old Isaiah is already showing singing talent.
"I think he is going to be able to sing," Underwood shares. "I hope, I think. When I try to get him to sing (though,) he won’t do it."
A true toddler, right Carrie?
With hockey great Mike Fisher as his father, Underwood says Isaiah is also showing signs of some impressive athletic talents, though he's not invested in hockey. "He’s upper physical kid too,” she says.
"He always has been. He likes to climb. He likes to run. We try to get him to play hockey but he’s not interested," she explains. "He’s in that time where if he can’t do something, he doesn’t want to try. If it’s hard and he can’t do it, he moves on."
And that’s ok with Carrie and Mike.

"We are careful," continues the proud mom of one when asked about sharing Isaiah's life journey over social media. “I don’t want to post things that might embarrass him later. If he decided to want to be in the public eye when he gets older, then that’s his choice. We are just careful about not putting too much stuff out there."
Straddling this fine line between not enough and too much is something Underwood has perfected throughout her career, which looks to only be getting stronger throughout 2018. The Oklahoma native will release her next album, Cry Pretty, on September 14.
