'X-Men: Days of Future Past' director Bryan Singer loves to tease his upcoming film, as all through production he tweeted photos from the set, and now he's setting us up to pay attention on January 27, which promises to be a "day of surprises.'

Singer tweeted this today:

@XMenMovies to see exclusive reveals on January 27th." It's hard to say what that is, though we wouldn't be surprised if Monday offers a version of the film's
Super Bowl ad.  Ultimately, we're a little tired of trailers for trailers (though this trend was much worse a year or two ago) but there are some cool moments in this brief glimpse at the film's next wave of marketing.

'X-Men: Days of Future Past' opens May 23. Here's the film's synopsis:

The ultimate X-Men ensemble fights a war for the survival of the species across two time periods in X-MEN: DAYS OF FUTURE PAST. The beloved characters from the original “X-Men” film trilogy join forces with their younger selves from “X-Men: First Class,” in an epic battle that must change the past – to save our future.
