Wynonna Judd’s Drummer-Husband Loses Leg in Motorcycle Accident

Wynonna Judd's husband and drummer Cactus Moser, was seriously injured in a motorcycle accident last Saturday. The two were out riding their motorcycles just prior to Wynonna's concert in Deadwood, South Dakota. Although not life threatening, Moser had his left leg amputated just above the knee and extensive surgery to his hand.  Wynonna said that she loves her husband dearly and will not leave his bedside.

The local newspaper, the Rapid City Journal is reporting that Moser did not have a motorcycle license and was at fault according to the South Dakota Highway Patrol, who claim Cactus was driving on the wrong side of the road when the accident occurred.

The drummer was taken by helicopter to the Rapid City Regional Hospital, where wife Wynonna Judd sits by her husbands bedside. Both Judd and Moser are extremely grateful for all the first responders and the 'wonderful medical staff' that continues to tend to Moser's needs. Wynonna has canceled all of her shows for now.
