The Skyplex will soon break ground in Orlando, Florida and will house the world's tallest roller coaster. The entertainment complex is set to break ground next year and is slated to open in 2017.

The Skyplex is a $250 million dollar venture of father and son team (David & Joshua Wallack) who currently own the Mango Tropical Cafe's in Florida. The project is a lofty one that will bring the tallest roller coaster to the U.S. It's a 535 ft. Polercoaster. The 4 minute ride will feature inside/outside loops, spirals, dives, inversions and more.

Skyplex will be an indoor theme park with arcades, rock climbing, simulators, rides, games and even clubs/bars with room to expand and include shopping and restaurants. Now if you're not into roller coasters there will still be an exciting adventure for you to experience the 500 ft. ride. It will contain a glass elevator that will take you to the top where you can experience the observation deck. Since I got queasy just watching the video below the elevator is probably the best option for me.

The Skyplex is due to break ground next year and is slated to open it's doors to the public in 2017.

So would you ride this?
