Tara Frey started collecting and weaving Starburst wrappers 6 years ago. Tara attempted to contact the Wrigley company makers of Starbursts and tried to buy the labels and was promptly told the wrappers are not for sale. Nonetheless, each wrapper has to be folded 8 times per wrapper and then it is ready to be woven into the dress.

Frey also went as far as to weave her shoes, purse and her boy friends tuxedo vest, so they both could match.
