Willie Nelson Strikes Plea Deal In Marijuana Case And Will Do No Time
Last year Willie Nelson's bus was stopped at a border checkpoint. The agents found marijuana on the bus and charged Nelson with possession. Nelson struck a plea deal in the case that reduced the charges and he will not do any jail time.Nelson, who is 78, worked out a plea deal with the prosecutors that he would plead no contest to
charges of possession of drug paraphernalia which reduced his charge to a misdemeanor that comes with no jail time but does have a $500 fine. If he stays out of trouble for 30 days the whole case will completely dropped.
This is great for Nelson but I have to say if this was you or me we probably wouldn't be so lucky. So I guess for Willie it's back "On The Road Again"!!
