There's a study that shows women are 37% more likely to go to a psychiatrist than men. This statement alone leaves a lot to wonder. Personally, I wonder why this is the case. There are several logical reasons, and I'd like to have your help sorting this out.

I went through the office and asked men and women what they think about this study. Men jokingly said "this proves what I knew all along:  women are nuts!".  Very funny. Okay, it's more funny when that sentiment is acted out by Jack Nicholson in "As Good As It Gets".

Women tend think the reason that women are more likely to go to a psychiatrist is "because women aren't afraid to ask for help, unlike men, who can't bring themselves to ask for directions.", and "because men drive women crazy!". Helen Hunt summarizes nicely in the first 30 second of this clip from the same movie.

I'd like to know what you think. Why are women are 37% more likely to go to a psychiatrist than men?
