This week, we asked Abilene what is the appropriate age for a kid to have a Facebook profile. There was a lot of spirited discussion on (of all places) Facebook, and on the radio. Thanks to everyone who voiced their opinion.

We know that Facebook requires that you be 13 in order to open a profile. But I know of kids who are younger and have profiles that are watched closely by their parents. I also know of parents who don’t care what Facebook thinks, 13 is too young to be on a social network.

Based on the conversation of the past few days, we've started this poll listing the most popular responses. For the sake of argument, we're going to assume that all kids under 18 will be watched by a parent/guardian. Let us know where your opinion falls, and feel free to leave a comment, too!
