Bobby’s smooth country vocals and talented fiddle playing make him and his band one of the best country swing acts in music today. Flores has been playing since he was seven years old, formed his first band at age 13, and played clubs and fairs. His talents was noticed early on, as he managed to earn opening gigs for Larry Gatlin, Tanya Tucker, Conway Twitty, Johnny Rodriguez, Marty Robbins, Bobby Bare, and Wynn Stewart.
Flores has played with several legends, including first fiddle in Ray Price’s Cherokee Cowboy band, Johnny Bush and the Bandoleros and Jake Hooker and the Outsiders before breaking out and forming his own band. His abilities go beyond singing and fiddle, as Flores is is capable of playing just about any stringed instrument. In 2003 Bobby received a Grammy Award for his string and brass arrangements and violin performances on Freddy Fender’s CD, “La Musica de Baldemar Huerta”.
