Watch Tom Grosset Set New Guinness Record to Become the World’s Fastest Drummer

On July 13th of this year (2013), Canadian born Tom Grosset set a new Guinness Record with over 1200 single strokes in a minute to become the fastest drummer in the world. Watch how insanely fast this dude is.

At the recent Extreme Sport Drumming in Nashville, Tom became only the second person in history to hit more than 1200 single strokes in a minute. In fact, he broke the record which was previously held by Dream Theater drummer Mike Mangini, by drumming his way to 1,208 single strokes in a minute. That means his hands were moving about 20 times per second!

Apparently, the guy is not only fast, but he's a very talented drummer as well. According to his YouTube channel, he adds drums to music for movies and game soundtracks.
