Watch Out For That Canyon; It’s A Doozie

I've never been to the Grand Canyon but I've seen pictures and I can honestly say it looks hard to miss.  However, that is apparently what happened to a young driver, when he "accidentally" drove his car off of the rim of the Grand Canyon.A 21 year old driver was found in the road by a passing motorist who called for help.  The young driver

says he accidentally drove off the rim of the canyon and dropped 200 feet before his car was stopped by a tree.  He crawled out of the car and up the canyon to the road where he flagged down help.  He was treated for some injuries which were not bad, but could have been.  My question is how in the hell did you miss a mile deep canyon?  You "accidentally" drove over the rim?  Although Thelma and Louise does come to mind.  There is an investigation by park authorities as to how and why this happened.  I would like to see that report when it's complete.
