In a video posted to her Facebook and YouTube pages, country singer Lindsay Ell debuted her stripped-down, soulful cover of Justin Timberlake's new song "Filthy." Press play above to listen.

Shot in a space that looks remarkably like a living room, the focus is on Ell and her guitar in the video. Toward the end of the video, Ell shows off a little impressive fretwork as she sings the breakdown.

"I'm always excited for new JT music," Ell writes in the caption for the video. "Here's my cover of "Filthy"! I've been out on the road, in the studio a lot. So I hope I'll be coming to see you guys on the road soon ... let me know what you want me to cover next!"

Ell, whose debut album The Project came out last year, is no stranger to mixing up her music with bluesy and rock and roll influences, and the singer appears to be right at home in her own version of Timberlake's R&B-flavored hit single. A self-proclaimed guitar nerd, Ell shines in this more minimalist format, which gives her a chance to show off her chops as a player as well as a vocalist.

Hopefully, fans will get a chance to hear Ell perform "Filthy" out on the road, because she's touring pretty much all year long. As she was in 2017, Ell will continue to be part of Brad Paisley's Weekend Warrior World Tour as an opener, joining fellow country up-and-comers Chase Bryant and Dustin Lynch. In April, she'll play massive country festival Stagecoach before heading out on tour with the newly reunited Sugarland in July.
