Ubisoft Launches Far Cry 3 Companion For iOS
To go along with its release on bigger platforms such as Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, Ubisoft has launched an official companion app for its first-person shooter Far Cry 3. For any fans of the graphics-intensive series, Far Cry: The Outpost arriving in the App Store should come as welcome news.
But it’s not just a simple guide through the jungle. Ubisoft has integrated some gameplay elements as well. With the official app, you can decode encrypted data found in Far Cry 3′s world and use that date to unlock weapon mods. The coolest part? You can do this all while you are away from your Xbox 360 or PS3!
The companion app also lets you customize your gear however you want, so you can always be sure that you are ready for action when you boot up the game. Far Cry: The Outpost is a free app, so go and get it! If you’re a Far Cry fan, there’s no reason not to!
