Tyler Farr Scores His First Top 20 Hit With ‘Redneck Crazy’
Tyler Farr is coming to Abilene for the KEAN 105 Summer Concert Series Friday night (6/28), and he’ll have reason to celebrate while he’s in town. His latest single, ‘Redneck Crazy’ became his first Top 20 hit this week, and it’s still climbing the charts. The excitement over Farr is on the radio, and it’s gone viral too. The music video for ‘Redneck Crazy’ has more than 1.5 million viewed on Vevo and well be featured on his debut album, which is set for release October 15.
Tyler tells gactv.com:
“This feels like a dream come true. I first fell in love with country music when I was 16 after spending a summer on the road with my stepfather, who played lead guitar for George Jones. I went from being a bouncer at Tootsie’s to convincing them to let me sing there. To look back now on how all of that led me here, to the amazing success that ‘Redneck Crazy’ has had–where fans are singing the words back to me– and to be releasing an album, is just an indescribable feeling. I can’t wait to share more about the album soon.”
This looks like the beginning of a series of big things to come for the rising star. Be sure to congratulate Tyler Farr when he comes to town Friday night!
