Johnny Cash's boyhood home in Dyess, Arkansas is being restored, with the intention of allowing fans and American history buffs the chance to see Cash's humble beginnings in its original state. While it won't be open to the public until August 2014, we have an up close look inside.

The restoration project began a couple years ago, and is nearing completion. TVH-11 brings us this report on the progress:

When it's done, this should be one of the "must-see" landmarks for music fans to visit.
