'True Blood' season 7 has been extensively revealed to scale back its storytelling next year by keeping the Bon Temps characters together against one threat, but season 6 finale "Radioactive" guaranteed the population would need some new blood. Among the first to sign on as a new series regular will be Amelia Rose Blaire, aka the Governor's daughter, Willa Burrell!

Previously, series showrunner Brian Buckner revealed that Luke Grimes (James) and Karolina Wydra (Violet) would also be joining the cast in series regular roles, having been introduced later in the most recent run. Blaire appeared in nearly every episode of season 6 and had indeed been present after the six-month time jump, though Deadline has only now confirmed the newbie vamp to return as an official series regular.

Elsewhere, we know of 'True Blood' season 7 that everyone's favorite naked viking vampire, Eric Northman (Alexander Skarsgard), will indeed return, despite a fiery end teased in the season 6 finale. Storytelling will shrink to see more direct human-vampire relationships in light of the hepatitis V threat, though it remains to be seen if 'True Blood' season 7 will keep to its shortened 10-episode format in 2014.
