Could new music be coming soon from Trisha Yearwood? The singer shared a nine-frame Instagram collage on Monday (Nov. 5) that has fans speculating.

Yearwood's Instagram photo series combines to reveal a promotional shot of some sort -- perhaps a single or album cover? The picture is of Yearwood, sporting a suitjacket, unbuttoned shirt and loosened tie, with a hat perched to obscure one eye -- a bit of a modern-day Carmen Sandiego look.

Each photo on Yearwood's Instagram page is captioned with the hashtag "#LBF." Commenters suggest those letters could stand for "Little Black Fedora" or "Let's Be Friends." Yearwood did not offer any further details as to when she'd share more details.

Yearwood's fans have been waiting on new music for years; the country star last released music in 2014, when she dropped Prizefighter: Hit After Hit, which showcases some of her most iconic hits alongside six new songs. That same year, she teamed with her husband, Garth Brooks, for a holiday album called Christmas Together.

Earlier in 2018, Yearwood hinted on Instagram that fans could expect to hear some new music soon, as she was planning to return to the studio. "I'm headed to the studio to start on a new record for the first time in ... I don't know, you guys probably know how many years better than I do," she revealed in a since-deleted post. "And I am so excited to start new music!"

More recently, Brooks teased a possible upcoming tour from Yearwood. During a press conference to announced his own multi-year stadium tour, Brooks shared that Yearwood would not be performing with him, except on special occasions -- but that "she's probably got her own tour she's announcing."

"She gave me three and a half years of her life to do what I wanted [during the 2014-2017 World Tour]," Brooks says. "So she wants to tour ... and I should be with her. I think I'm going to spend a lot of the next three years backstage, hoping my wife is having the time of her life."
