Ira Dean is now formerly of Trick Pony, the band is no longer together, each of the three artists are recording separately. Ira Dean's put together a new album and will be available in late February. He is currently on a "Radio Tour" whereby he visits radio stations and plays some of his new songs live. Dean was kind enough and offered to play an acoustic set for everyone within ear shot, those that came out to our "live broadcast and fund raiser" at the Hardback Cafe' in Hastings got quite a treat.

Ira still has that charm and showman savvy that catapulted his former group to the top of the charts and amassed nominations from the Academy of Country Music, the Country Music Association, the Grammy's and more. Ira Dean played to a group that gathered at the Hardback Cafe coffee house inside Hastings Books, Music and Videos. while some a young couple continued to read and do homework the rest of the crowd seemed to enjoy the late-afternoon mini concert. Mr. Dean impressed everyone with all the songs from his new project and then he broke into the Trick Pony hits of Pour Me and Just What I Do. Ira Dean has promised to come back and play for a special KEAN 105 concert, so stay tuned for details in the near future.
