Last we heard, three-time Oscar winner Jack Nicholson wasn't totally retired, but the 76-year old had become so choosy about his work that it's possible 2010's 'How Do You Know' could be his last feature film. Well, not if Tom Cruise has anything to say about it, as he's wooing Jack to star along with him in '' for his 'Edge of Tomorrow' director Doug Liman.

The Hollywood Reporter revealed that Cruise has been pitching his 'A Few Good Men' castmate on the movie, and that Cruise has said that if Nicholson doesn't co-star in the movie with him, he won't make it. THR says that 'El Presidente' is about "a straight-arrow Secret Service agent who is assigned to protect America's worst former president, an alcoholic and womanizing sleazebag who never won a presidential election but was elevated from VP when the president died. When a threat is made on the ex-president’s life, the duo must go on the run."

So it's a new spin on 'Midnight Run,' which could be fun. And it seems Nicholson has agreed to read the script, which means there is hope that we could see him on the big screen at least one more time.
