Tina Fey rapping is probably not what you expected to hear this morning, but it’s for real. Fey teamed up with ‘Community‘ star (and former ‘30 Rock‘ writer) Donald Glover for a verse on his new ablum “Royalty” and…well, you’re going to have to listen for yourself.

Tina Fey is no stranger to rapping for comedy. She’s done it on ‘SNL’ and on ’30 Rock’ but here she makes an attempt at dropping some serious rhymes on the Glover (aka Childish Gambino) track “Real Estate” that closes out his new album.

Glover released the album online yesterday and it features a bevy of hip-hop guest spots including Bun B, RZA, Ghostface Killa and Beck. But it’s the ’3o Rock’ star that closes out the album with her first official rap. So what’s the verdict?

Well, it kinda sounds like what you would imaging if Tina Fey was rapping. It’s a little stilted, sure, and sounds as if she’s reading her rhymes of a sheet of paper. With someone as quick and smart as Tina Fey, we’d imagine freestyling would be more her thing.

Take a listen the Tina Fey rap below (skip to 4:58 for Fey’s verse), follow along with the “lyrics” below and let us know what you think in the comments. You can download the entire Childish Gambino album here.

“Yeah we in here, we in this thing / Gambino in this thing / Royalty is forever / We ballin’ so we f—in’ up the hardwood homey / This is the life we live son / My president is black and my Prius is blue motherf—er / Royalty all day / We dropping racks at Nordstrom son / That’s racks on racks dammit / You feel me? / This is the part where most people would say something crazy and drop the n-word after it / Not going to / Not gonna do that / I don’t feel comfortable! / I’m out!”
