Tim McGraw is scheduled to stop by the set of the NFL talk show 'The Journey' tomorrow (Nov. 22), just before the Dallas Cowboys and the Washington Redskins will go head-to-head for one of the NFL's Thanksgiving Day football face-offs.

Also making a Turkey Day appearance is Kenny Chesney, who will perform during the televised halftime segment of the game. The Cowboys vs. Redskins kick off at 3:15 PM CT. Both McGraw and Chesney, who toured together over the summer, continue to be supporters of the NFL and its affiliation with country music.

McGraw's appearance on the 'The Journey' is another profile appearance for the superstar leading up to the release of his new studio album, 'Freedom Lanes of Freedom,' due out Feb. 5. The singer admits that he hoped to make an impact when choosing an appropriate title for the project.

“Freedom’ is a powerful word,” McGraw says of decision. “To come into a situation where there’s some weight lifted, some refreshment going on, you can feel that in the music. I think you can feel the horses gallop on this record, and where I might go and what I might do when my engines are revving.”

“It’s about reflecting on old times with a sense of nostalgia, but it’s also about creating new memories and living in the moment and looking towards the future,” admits the devoted husband and father-of-three. “I am doing that in my own life and career now, and I can’t wait for my fans to hear the single and album.”

The collection is home to the new single, 'One of Those Nights,' which McGraw recently debuted with a performance at the 2012 CMA Awards. The album will also feature 'Truck Yeah,' McGraw's most recent Top 10 single.
