‘The Walking Dead’ Season 4 Spoilers: Where Does the Mid-Season Finale End?

The Walking Dead Season 4 Spoilers Finale Too Far Gone
AMC

The Walking Dead‘ season 4 has plenty of ground left to cover in the first eight episodes, continuing the amped-up threat of walkers and disease in this coming Sunday’s “Isolation,” but where will the next five episodes take us before the mid-season break? Find out in the full set of ‘Walking Dead’ season 4 synopses for upcoming episodes through December!

Including the first three episodes of the season, the latest press release for upcoming episodes of ‘The Walking Dead’ season 4 don’t get terribly specific with the details, though of note is the title change for the sixth episode, previously dubbed “Rise.” Some had speculated that to reference David Morrissey’s return as the Governor, tying in to the ‘Rise of the Governor’ novels, though now it looks as if we might not see the character again until the final two episodes of the season’s first half

From AMC:

Episode 4.03: “Isolation” – A group leaves the prison to search for supplies; the remaining members of the group deal with recent losses.

Episode 4.04: “Indifference” – The supply mission faces hurdles; the situation at the prison worsens.

Episode 4.05: “Internment” – Assorted enemies pressure Rick and the group; the survivors and the prison may reach a breaking point.

Episode 4.06 – “Live Bait” – Group members struggle to find their humanity while being constantly threatened.

Episode 4.07 – “Dead Weight” – Something new unfolds at a camp outside the prison; the addition of new members may threaten peace.

Episode 4.08 – “Too Far Gone” – After things begin to calm at the prison, Rick and the group face imminent danger.

The seventh episode of the season seems our most likely target for either the Governor’s return, or the first appearances of Abraham (Michael Cudlitz), Eugene (Josh McDermitt) and Rosita (Christian Serratos), similar to how Tyreese and his group didn’t pop up until the mid-season finale of season 3. We’d previously suspected the three comic characters’ appearances to have something to do with the massive herd that Daryl and the others encounter, though previews from Sunday’s “Isolation” reveal that moment to arrive much sooner than we’d anticipated.

“Too Far Gone” also borrows its title from one of the later collected volumes of ‘The Walking Dead’ comics though the events took place at a time far removed from the prison setting.

While we wait for the latest from ‘The Walking Dead’ season 4, check out the latest preview below, and tell us in the comments what you’re most excited to see from the first half of the season!
