Mary Sarah is the country up-and-comer to watch on Blake Shelton’s team during this season of The Voice, and this week she brought a romantic performance of Randy Travis’ "I Told You So" to the stage.

The impressive vocalist gave the 1988 song a modern edge for the Semi-Finals, performing more in line with Carrie Underwood's 2007 cover of the tune.

With only 8 contestants left and four available slots in the next round, Mary Sarah brought her A-game and showed off her stunning vocals, accompanied by only a piano for the intimate performance. She's delivered several show-stoppers over the weeks, including Tammy Wynette's “Stand by Your Man” and current hit by Maren Morris, “My Church.”

As a member of Team Blake, it’s very possible Mary Sarah’s got a bright future ahead. Several of Shelton's pupils have gone on to budding country careers, including RaeLynn, the Swon Brothers and Cassadee Pope. Shelton has been a coach on the show since its inception — it's even where he met his girlfriend Gwen Stefani last season. He recently brought her on to perform their new duet “Go Ahead and Break My Heart," a song they wrote together about their relationship. It will appear on Shelton’s upcoming record If I’m Honest. Stefani also appeared as an advisor for Shelton's team, as her coach’s chair is currently being filled by Christina Aguilera.
