The Silver Spur Gun and Blade Show is Back in Abilene February 23rd and 24th at the Expo Center
Have you been to the sporting goods store lately? How about those super stores that sell guns and ammo? The gun stores and pawn shops aren't much different either. Everywhere you go people are looking for guns or ammo. This weekend West Texans are in luck because the Silver Spur Gun and Blade Show is back, February 23rd and 24th at the Taylor Country Expo Center. The Silver Spur folks also invite vendors of all kinds from handmade arts and crafts to jewelry and survival gear.
The last time this show was in town, one fellow showed me how to start a fire without any matches or lighters. In fact he used wet leaves, a magnesium rod and my pocket knife, that was impressive. The best part of this show is, it's right at tax time which means some folks will be looking to buy. The shows promoter says many of the vendors are loading up on ammo to bring to the Abilene show.
Kim Sansom Silver Spur show promoter said "the Abilene show is one of my favorites, because the people of west Texas are very friendly and the best part is, we will be at maximum capacity with over 200 tables of vendors from all over the Lone Star State."
