The Merkel Volunteer Fire Department is Hosting Bill’s BBQ Bash October 12th

Get your apron on and get ready for some awesome barbeque in Merkel, Saturday, October 12th. This benefit cook-off includes a silent auction, gun raffle and live entertainment from Belle Plain Revival and Callahan Divide. Bill's BBQ Bash benefits the Merkel Volunteer Fire Department, and includes brisket, ribs, chicken and more.

• Cooks gate opens at 8 AM
• Public gate opens at 3 PM
• Food serving is from 3 PM - 5 PM
• Band starts at 5:30 PM

Exit 270 off I-20, then right at the big hanging tire, follow the signs.

A $20.00 donation is recommended admission.

Event organizers advise wearing comfortable shoes and bring your lawn chairs and coolers (no glass containers). Prizes will be awarded for the cook-off. This bash benefits the Merkel Volunteer Fire Department.
