Just when you think the Band Perry‘s chart-topping smash ‘If I Die Young’ can’t get any bigger, it does. The sibling trio’s hit single has now been certified quadruple platinum for digital downloads exceeding four million copies sold. The accomplishment is not one to take lightly, either. This particular milestone sets the band apart from any other country act in the past 18 months for having the best selling single during that time period.

“We are honored by this acknowledgment and thankful that so many of you have connected with this song,” says Kimberly Perry, who solely penned the award-winning song that took home honors of Song of the Year at the 2011 CMA Awards.

“Each time the bar is set, it seems that the Band Perry surpasses it,” adds Jimmy Harnen, president of the Band Perry’s record label, Republic Nashville. “Selling over four million downloads on just one song is a huge accomplishment. This extremely talented group is remarkable, and we’re thrilled to have them as part of the Republic Nashville family.”

The Band Perry is still coming down from the success of their second chart-topping single, ‘All Your Life,’ which spent two weeks in the No. 1 position on the Billboard charts. This week, the band released their fifth single from their self-titled debut album, ‘Postcard From Paris.’

Look for the Perry siblings on the road for a majority of the year with Brad Paisley on his Virtual Reality Tour, which just added a slew of new cities to its already full roster. Click here to see a full schedule of where they will be performing throughout 2012.
