Taylor Swift is never too far removed from country music. On Saturday (Oct. 6) in Dallas — the closing date of her Reputation Tour in the U.S. — the now-pop megastar welcomed "Babe" collaborators Sugarland as special guests.

Though the country duo have performed "Babe" together on tour, it was their first time playing it with Swift.

The song (a co-write between Swift and Train's Pat Monahan) was a single for Sugarland, who recently returned to country radio after a hiatus to pursue solo projects. Swift's vocals are featured on the studio version, and its drama-filled music video was her brainchild.

Saturday was night No. 2 of Swift's two-night run at Dallas' AT&T Stadium. On Friday, she invited country's Maren Morris to join her for a duet of Morris' multi-genre smash "The Middle" (originally with Zedd).

Though Swift was born of country music, she famously transitioned to pop music in 2014, releasing her first all-pop album, 1989, that fall. But in inviting special guests to join her onstage during her tours, she always ensures that country names are on the list. Miranda Lambert, Keith Urban and Kelsea Ballerini were surprises in 2015, while Tim McGraw and Faith Hill (together) had the honor of singing "Tim McGraw" — Swift's first country hit — at the Nashville show in August.

Next up for Swift is bringing Reputation to fans in Australia. Sugarland released a new country album, Bigger, in June.
